(April Fools!) Requiem Frumentum Etruscum...

Writer's picture: Soren HaidriSoren Haidri

When the hunger hath spoken, and all other voices hath ceased,

It calls out to its breathen over the roar of the beast.

Amber is its hue, and rounded its shape,

Leaving all witnesses with mouths agape.

Seeking delectables to thoroughly corrupt,

It seats itself, our enjoyment disrupt.

Indeed, this menace has arrived at last,

To challenge and take, causing one to fast.

What one can do, such evil born,

To that of pizza, topped with corn?
