Greetings! My name is Soren! I'm an eccentric Christian from Portland, OR, working as a full-time missionary in Sendai, Japan with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). Whenever I'm not writing stories or exploring the nearby woods, I'm playing video games, editing videos, hanging out at arcades, or riffing movies with friends.

Ever since I was a child, I've always been interested in Japan. It has such a unique and rich culture: intense, yet polite and respectful. I was fortunate to be able to take a month off and visit Tokyo, experiencing everything first hand.

While visiting, my heart broke for the Japanese, seeing how so few knew Jesus as their savior and the peace, joy, and salvation that only He can bring is lacking in their daily lives. I work to change that, so that everyone in Japan may have the chance to know Him not as just some irrelevant western religion, but as the true God of Japan and the entire universe.

 It's an incredible privilege to be finally here in Japan, sharing the Gospel to the Japanese people!
