Aloha from Kona!
Hi everyone! It’s been a while since our last update, and we’ve got a short but exciting one to share!

After nearly a year of planning, fundraising, and prayer, I’m finally here at YWAM Kona attending the film school. It still feels surreal! Thank you so much for your incredible support and prayers! This truly wouldn't have happened without you.
Though the school is just 10 weeks long, the schedule is packed! So far, we've covered camera basics, lighting, and screenwriting, and we’ll soon be producing and directing our own short films. Filmmaking is intense, but very fulfilling. I’m excited to keep learning and eventually use these skills to glorify God, whether that’s documenting testimonies in Japan, joining a Christian production team, or creating original films. We’re trusting God and looking forward to whatever He has in store!
Hawaii has been beautiful! Surprisingly, the heat and humidity here are easier to handle than what we left behind in Sendai (it was 33°C/93°F there!). Kona has been a comfortable 27–30°C (80–86°F). We haven’t had much beach time due to our busy schedule, but that’s not why we came, after all.
Please continue to pray for:
Wisdom and growth during this season
Misako’s ongoing English improvement
Rei’s continued treatment and healing
Financial provision for what’s ahead
Clear direction for our next steps after Kona
Thank you again for walking with us! We’re so grateful for your support!
