Salutations to all you awesome people out there, and Happy 241st Birthday, USA! It's been a few weeks since my birthday, and I'm doing super real good! Still on the birthday buzz and feeling fine for being freshly 30! One of the heads of the National YWAM Japan Office, John Harris, and his wife, Rhonda, came up to visit our humble base in Sendai! It was refreshing and encouraging to hang out and receive words of wisdom from a missionary who's lived in Japan for many years.
This week, we have two guests from a YWAM base in the UK staying with us and doing ministry around the city. We'll be doing street evangelism, art evangelism, street worship and even praying at the red light district in town. Yes, sadly, Sendai has a red light district hidden in the bowels of the city.
This coming Thursday, I'll be taking them to the Date Masamune castle ruins, and various temples and shrines to pray over them and intercede for the city of Sendai. Please pray against spiritual attacks and oppression that may arise in these dark places, and that Japan will be freed from spiritual darkness. Only through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit can there be victory.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and support as I continue my ministry here in Sendai!
