Hello everyone! It's been over a month since the last update, and there's a lot to cover, so let's not delay any longer and dive straight in!
It's amazing to think that a little over a month ago, I was on the brink of marrying my soulmate, Misako, and now life is truly wonderful! While adapting to this significant change has had its challenges, any minor inconveniences pale in comparison to the joy of being with my new wife! Having someone to share everything with, from the small moments to the big events, from the joys and frustrations of daily life, is truly fantastic and priceless. Thank you everyone for praying and supporting our wedding and marriage! We are so thankful to God and you all!
Speaking of sharing joys, I have a big announcement to share with everyone: Misako and I will be visiting America from September 12th until the 24th! It'll be a short but sweet trip, and we both cannot wait!
Sadly, we won't be able to visit all the places we wanted to go to, but we will be in San Diego, Portland, and San Francisco during this time, visiting friends, family, and Lakeside Christian Church. Misako has never been to the USA before, so she's very excited to experience American culture and to meet many of you in person! Please pray for a safe trip filled with fellowship, fun, and new connections as I bring my wife to my home country.
We also have a major announcement about a new project! For the past six months, Misako and I have been creating a new YouTube channel to be used for missions and ministry! Misako has been practicing drawing and animating for over a year now, desiring to use her skills for God's kingdom.
Finally, we are both ready to introduce our newest project: "Through the Sheep Gate"! We came up with the title after reading John 10:1-17, where Jesus talks about how He is the good shepherd and he enters the Sheep Gate to protect His sheep. Here is our introductory animation, designed to embody our overall themes.
Misako handled all the animation, while I took charge of the video editing!
Our goal with this YouTube channel is to produce entertaining cartoons that are humorous, endearing, and touching, conveying the Gospel message in a manner that resonates with Christians and non-Christians alike, with a particular focus on the Japanese audience. Our animations will feature unique narratives and characters, Biblical parables, and personal testimonies from other believers.
For a long time, I've wanted to use my love for film-making to share the message of the Kingdom of God to the Japanese and all people of the world, and now with the help of my wife and, Lord willing, God's blessing, I pray that this channel will be used for spreading Jesus' kingdom and bringing joy and laughter to those who desperately need it.
